Dr. Amoakohene’s comments come at a time when Ghana continues to grapple with environmental challenges such as illegal mining (galamsey), deforestation, and pollution — issues that have significantly affected the nation’s natural resources and ecosystems.
He expressed optimism that Ghana could draw inspiration from China’s environmental transformation model, highlighting the importance of green partnerships, reforestation programs, and stronger environmental governance.
